From Edinburgh Airport follow the road signs for the City Bypass south (A720) and continue on the City Bypass taking the exit at Straiton Junction. Follow the A701 into the City Centre and at the bottom of Liberton Brae take the left hand fork onto Mayfield Road.Go through the traffic lights at the University buildings and we are situated on the right opposite a small park on your left hand side.

The Main Train Station in Edinburgh is “Waverley Station”, it connects to all area’s of Great Britain and major ferry links to Europe and Northern Ireland. A taxi from Waverly Station will cost about £8.00 to the Mayfield Lodge, or take a bus see Buses below

Edinburgh International Airport is about 10 miles away. A taxi will take about 20 minutes and cost roughly £25.00 Take the Airport bus (cost £3.50 each) or the Tram(£5) to the city centre at Waverly Station and then take a taxi (cost about £8.00) see Buses below to the Mayfield Lodge.

In the History of Edinburgh -The Tram system is not new to the city, its service was stopped on 16th Nov. 1956 and reintroduced on 31st May 2014. It operates between Edinburgh Airport and York Place. Very convenient for using as an Airport link or to Murrayfield Stadium for sport events.
